Overview

TOOL DESCRIPTION

Tool helps to visualize treatment quality of seeds. The rub-off test is designed to assess the robustness of the seed treatment under stress conditions (example: handling of seeds after treatment (from the treater to the bagging line) The device has a double Plexiglas drum with an adjustable rotation speed, 500g samples are used. The drum rotates for 300 seconds @ 50rpm. The level of deposit/contamination of the drum as well as the coverage of the seeds must be assessed.
