Improving performance and safety with seed treatments, published by ASTA
Seed treatments, including neonicotinoids, have been widely adopted by growers as a safe and effective way to protect seeds against destructive pests. Seed treatments reduce the environmental impact of the production process by decreasing the number of spray applications with agrochemical products and lessening exposure to untargeted species, including humans and pollinators.
This video has been produced and published by the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) to give a clear statement on seed treatments and is fully supported by key players in this industry. The video includes statements from DuPont Pioneer, Monsanto, Bayer CropScience and BASF, in addition to Syngenta.
