TOOL DESCRIPTION

Impact of seed treatment for a variety of seed diseases is visualized using Petri dishes. This can be done by comparing multi seed Petri dishes with different seed treatment (and same disease).

Tests are conducted on agar media in Petri dishes. This rapid, flexible and powerful concept shows the benefits of seed treatment.

Produced in lab conditions, Petri dishes with agar media. Various fungi: Fusarium and Rhizoctonia.

ALREADY ESTABLISHED FOR:

Corn, Wheat

HOW IT IS USED

It can be shown at meetings or trainings at China SCI, or taken to the customers.
This is a very simple and important tool to showcase the interaction between pathogen and seed treatment, called «pathogen inhibition zone».
