RHIZOTRONS/LARGE/NEMATODES
Overview
TOOL DESCRIPTION
We plant half of one rhizotron with seeds treated with Avicta Completo, the other half with seeds treated with Cruiser + fungicide. We inoculate a suspension of nematode eggs / juveniles onto the seeds. Meloidogyne is the nematode genus that produces the best results. We incubate for 7-10 days, under optimal conditions for plant and nematode development (adequate humidity, warm temperature 25C)
ALREADY ESTABLISHED FOR:
Soybean
HOW IT IS USED
- We explain to the growers how important it is to protect the crop roots in its initial (critical stage for plant).
- We explain to the growers that even not being efficient to protect the crop all along the growing season, Avicta Completo is a powerful tool for them to be able to keep growing and produce yield in nematode infested fields
